The Press Bureau states that the Government has discussed the Corn Trade and Millers Associations' proposals to maintain adequate stocks of wheat, in months when tney are usually lowest. There is general agreement that stocks held by the trade, as distinct from the Government, will be extremely small, and public discussion on any scheme they have adopted would be inadvisable in 'the national interests.
