An exceptionally heavy casualty list was issued by the Base Records' Office yesterday. It contained the names of 146 men of the Otago Battalion who have been either killed in action, died of 'wounds, or are believed to be dead. The list also contains the name of one member ! of the Wellington Battalion who is reported to have died of wounds, while two members of the Biile Brigade are reported dead—one killed in action and one died of wounds.
