BECOMES OPERATIVE NEXT WEEK By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright (Roe. February 4, 9.50 p.m..) London, February 3. A proclamation fixes February 10 as the date for the Compulsion Act to come into operation, which means that unattested unmarried men will be regarded as enlisted on March 2, and will consequently take their places with the Derby recruits who have already been called up.
