ENGINEERS CHANGE CAMP FURTHER APPOINTMENTS STATUS OF NURSES
• Captain Bladen, Salvation Army chaplain, lias reported at Featlierston Camp. At Trentham, Pte. D. W. E. Taylor lias been appointed orderly room clerk, with the rank of corporal. Returned Soldiers Back in Camp. The following returned soldiers liavo reported at Trentham for duty, and liavo been transferred to the undermentioned nnits: — Pte. F. M. GilmoTC, C Company, 4th, transferred to C Company, 10th; Pte. E. T. Swetnam, C Company, 3rd, transferred to C Company, 10th; Driver S. H. Smith, N.Z.F.A., 3rd, transferred to N.Z.F.A., 11th. Featherston Promotions. The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featlierston :—Privates C. D. Blaramberg, L. B. 1 Davios, F. Goldsmith,, AV. M'Farlane, B. P.- Northo, and J. R. Scorrar, B Squadron, 12th, to be lance-corporals; Oaipl.':.\ClmßtieiJii,.. t'Headqiiarters,-Per-manent Band, to be sergeant. Officers and N.C.O.'s Change Camp. The 14th officers and N.C.O.'s, Enfineers, proceeded from Trentham to 'eatherston by the 10.50 a.m. train yesterday. Status of Nurses. Trentham Camp Orders state:—-"It is hotified for information that the military status of matrons, sisters, and mirses is that of officers, and they will be accorded the usual courtesy salute. As regards medical'and ■ sanitary matters, and work in connection with the sick, matrons, sisters, and nurses are to be regarded as having authority in and about military hospitals next after the officers of the N.Z.M.C., and are at all times to be obeyed accordingly, and to receive the respect due to their position."

Movoment of Infantry. 'The Eleventh Infantry has moved from Trentham. to Featherston Camp. A, B, C, and D Companies left by special train early yesterday morning. Keveille sounded in the camp at 4 a.m., and the Trentham Camp Band, which had played at tho Reinforcements' Officers' ball at the racecourse kiosk up till midnight, turned out to play the troops to the station. This morning E, F, G, and H Companies were to make a similar early start." The Thirteenth Reinforcements will go into camp at Trentham next week, and tho Twelfth, which are now in training there, will move on to; Featherston about the 17tb, when the Tenth begin their route march across the Rimutakas from Featherston to Trentham. ' Rifle Brigade. During this week the 3rd and 4th Battalions of tho New Zealand. Rifle Brigade, which have been in training at Rangiotu, have been making preparations to quit that camp. The 4th Battalion, with the Field Ambulance, loft the camp yesterday morning by spccial train for Auckland, where they .are to route-march through the city today, together with the 4th Maori Contingent. The 3rd leave Rangiotri for Wellington to-night,, and will march through the' City streets to-morrow. Rangiotu camp will not be used again by the Expeditionary Forces for somo time, the men in training being divided between ■■ Trentham and Featherston camps:...' . . .. Rangiotu Gamp. At Rangiotu Pte. J. M'Lean has been appointed permanent cook in the Permanent A.S.O.
