The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agcncy Company report:—On "Wednesday we held our annual weaner fair at Kongotea. The total yarding comprised about 760 head, which were a particularly wellgrown and good-conditioned lot, and met with keen competition. Bidding -was sustained throughout, and improved as tho salo advanced, eteers in particular selling well. Best steers, £2 35., £2 lis., £2 195.; best heifers, 35., 385., .£2, £2 55.; mixed weaners, small, 20s. to 305.; better sorts, 355. to £2 4s. The -New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report:—At Palmerston North on Tburcday wo had a good yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle. All lots sold well at late rates. We quote:— Aged ewes, 12s„ 14. 3d.; two-tooth -wethers, 225.. £d.; small lambs, 9s. 5d.; rape lambs, 12s. 10d.; mixed, weaners, 265.; two-year heifers, £3 10s.; forward cows, £6 125.; 6pringing heifers, £7.
