M'Arthur, S'tevens (s.); Cowie, M'Ewen, Fowler, Wearne (s.). Tho annual bowling match between the Wellington Commercial • Travellers and the Central Glub will be played this afternoon on tho Wellington Club's green. . The following are tho W.C.T. The following will represent the Khandallah Club against Thorndon, at Khandtillah, next Saturdayßlyth, Pownall, Cameron, M'Arthur (s.); Walclio, Monro, Weight, J. A. Palmer (s.); Vincent, Grant, Mansfield, Nalder (ft.); Tnvlor, Matthowman, Bourke, Hogben (a.).
Lieut. Wilson, of the Otago Battalion, reported as iimong the Now Zealauders who have been "mentioned in dispatches," is a son of Mr. C. G. AYilson, Wellington manager of Messrs. Sargood, Son, and Kwen. Born in Melbourne just over twenty-two years ago, lie was educated fit Invercargill and the Otago High School, awl when lie enlisted ho was in charge of Messrs. Wriajit, Stephenson, and C'o.'s works at Balfour. I' rom tho Otago High School Cadets ho went into tho Territorials, and left New Zealand witli tho Main Expeditionary Forco as 2nd lieutenant. Ho has been shot twice, and word has boon received that in November last he was promoted captain.
