Tho Russians continue their successful progress in the Caucasus, and have cut off certain ef the Tui feish forces from tho main army. President Wilson is inaugurating a national campaign for military pre- . paredness; incidentally, it is reported that tho United States has closed down on German evasiveness on the Lusitania question, and threatened a diplomatic rupturo. 1
