MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., presided in the Magistrate's Court on' Saturday. For insobriety, John Xilmartin was fined 10s., John M'Oarthy £1, Frederick Patrick Lyness 10s., John Wallace £1, latrick Butler £2, ajid John Patrick Uyle. £3. \ Hugh Wilson was fined £5 for indecency. Two months' imprisonment was tho sentence on Alexander M'Douald, who >i as charged with 1 having assaulted Norma isolomon by hitting her with a ohair. 1 eter Unger was fined £3 for having used obscene language. William Reeves was fined £5 for in(leceuey. (This ease was dealt with by Mr. A\. G. I'iddell, S.M.)
