Hie Wellington Canary and Cage Bird Club held its sixth annual show 011 Saturday afternoon. The display of birds w*is ail attractive one, and it included canaries and other small birds, besides iiumoious v;iriolie;> of jngeojis aud l J ersian oats. Mr. J. Hall (secretary of the club), was the principal 'winner in the canary class, and ho secured the club shield and a special prize. The "runnerup was A. E. Airth. A. Canner secured the shield and special prize in the novice class. All the birds were of a very fine quality, the entries being a record. There were uumorous classes for pigeons, and they made an excellent show. During the day and evening a large number of enthusiasts visited the stow.
