NEW TRAM LINE
THE CONSTABLE STREET EXTENSION. The Mayor read a return to the City Council last evening of the expenditure to date on the Constable Street Tramway Extension. The figures were: £ Permanent way 9,322 Overhead equipment and feeder cables 5,918 Boosters, etc 1,330 Widening road 8,443 Property for widening 915 Total £25,928 In addition, £204 had been, expended on track duplication and overhead equipment in Constable Street.
