EGG AND POULTRY MARKET REPORT
The New Zealand Poultry Industries, Ltd., report as follows: —Wo liave handled a larger number of consignments during the week than usual, but actual supplies are falling off owing to so many birds being in moult. There ia a good demand and firm market at last .week's rate, Is. 6d. per dozen. Poultry: Light-hens up, to 45., heavy ss. to ss. 6d. to 65.; cockerels, 4s. 3d. to 4s. 9d., to 6s. 6d. to 6s. 9d, for prime, birds j ducks, heavy up to 7s. 9d., Indian Runners, to ,6s.
