MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Messrs. I. Salek and W. H. Coy, J/sT., presided over Saturday's sittings of the Magistrate's Court. For insobriety Percy Hammond was fined 10s.
Ga.van Brown was sentenced to one month's imprisonment for having used obscene language. Elizabeth Brady, who was deemed to be an incorrigible rogue, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. Albert Hy. Palmer, a soldier, was ordered to pay the costs of certain Hospi--lal treatment he had received.
Joseph Churchill was fined ss. for drunkenness, and for indecency and resisting the polico was sentenced to fourteen, days' imprisonment.
