Titheradge, the actor, is [The late Mr. Titheradge was bom at Portsmouth in December, 1848,, and made his first appearance on the, stago in his native town in 1866. For ten years ho played in the principal provincial theatres, and in IS7G went to Calcutta. He made his first appearance on the London stago at the Court Theatre, October (3, 1677, as Sir Francis Ma'rsden, in "Tho House of Darnlev," under the management of John Hare. For many years lie was a great favourite in Australia and New Zealand, whore ho has appeared in numerous parts.
