In the Reichstag Herr Zimmermann, on behalf of the Government, thanked the Reiclistag and the nation for its. .unanimous expression of horror at the Barakmg case.. He assured members that the Government would find the right way and means to punish sharply and emphatically the horrible English! deed. Herr Ledebour (Socialist)-pointed put that reprisals were pons. He hoped the Government would not go beyond the submarining limits fixed after the Lusitania incident, and would adhere to its promise not to torpedo any'vessel without warning. A section of the Socialists applauded Horr Ledebur. The Press enthusiastically endorsee the Government's promise of reprisals:. .
