ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A BOY'S DEATH. Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., held an inquest yesterday concerning the death of Roy Percival Korr, 10 years of age, who was reported to have been drowned in St._ John's Bathing Pool, near the Karori Dam. The Coroner returned a verdict of found drowned. R. Scott, an elderly man, was admitted to the Public Hospital last evening with his throat cut. He was reported last night to be progressing favourably. Scott had been an inmate of the Home for the Aged and Needy. An. inquest concerning the death of Porter Chapman, which occurred at Petone railway station on Thursday, is to be held at the Petone Court on Wednesday next.
