A POLICE RAID
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, January 20. Tlio police raided a small shop in Hobson Street, and took possession of five hogsheads and twelve cases of a bottled boverage sold as hop beer. Tlio load, which weighed about three tons, was removed to the police station. The liquor will be analysed, tho allegation being that it contains more aloohol than is permitted by law.
