POLICE CASES. Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., presided in the Magistrate's Court yesterday. For insobriety, Geo. Win. Jackson was fined £2, John O'Neill £1, and Joseph Daniel Collins 10s. Joseph Win. Gcorgespn was fined £2 for inebriation, and £3 for having used obscene language in Willis Street. James Dnngan, who was deemed to l?e a rogue and a vagabond, was remanded for a week for medical treatment. Tile theft of tobacco and other goods, valued at £11 the property of Henry Brown, was alleged against Fred Sermon, who was declared guilty, and sentenced to three months imprisonment. The hearing of evidence on the charge against Jamts Bllery, licensee of the Princess Hotel, of his having supplied liquor 011 a Sunday was concluded, and His Worship said that he would give a decision to-day.
