The mine znoaa-gor of the Hauro-ki Reefs reports:—Sloping was continued, over No. 3 level, and 101b. picM. stone was obtained from good general: dirt. The No. 3 face was extended, and a little gold was seen in the quartz broken. The reef is making again in -the No. 2 face in good oountry. \Ve have . stopped the face in the Wynyardtan crosscut, and have started to open out on the reef cut. Very little quartz has yet beecn broken.
