'At a meeting of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, held last evening, Mr. J. Uott presided. The report of tho Inspector (Captain Henry) stated that a number of reported oases of cruelty had been investigated. Where necessary, action had been taken to relieve the sufferings of animals. Tho report recommended, and it was agreed, that a letter should he written to tho Onslow Borough Council calling attention to the fact that the water was not Jaid on to the pound at Kniwarra.
