NEW FREEZING WORKS
An industry of the greatest importancs to Taihape and district was inaugurated on Monday, 3rd January, when the new Freezing Works of the Otaihape Farmers' Meat and Produce Co., Ltd., were the scene' of opeuing operations. It is estl-' mated that the killing for the first season will be well over 100,000 carcasses. The sole selling agents in the United Kingdom for the Otaihape Meat Works are Messrs. S. V. Nevarns and Co,, Ltd., of Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne, Liverpool, Glasgow, and London.
