' *—T SOME CHANGES., 'At a meeting of the Soman Catho]io Diocesan Consult-ors, presided over by his Lordship Bishop Cleary, _ held in ■Auckland, a number of important changes were decided upon in the Auckland Diocese (says tho "Star"). • The appointment of Moiisignor Brocfio. as Bishop of Christchurch has necessitated a chango, and the Right Rev. Mousignor Mahoney, of Onehunga, takes his place as Vicar-General. The Very Rev. Father Cahill, Administrator of St. Patrick's, has Tjeen appointed rector of Parnell, in place of Monsignor Brodie. Father Murphy, of Ponsonby, has been appointed Administrator of St. Patrick's Cathedral. Father Carran. of Cambridge, takes charge of Ponsonby. Father Fordo, of St. Benedict's, takes chargo of Tanmarunui. Father O'Malley, of Ormond, Poverty Bay, takes charge of Remuera, in place of Father Doyle, who proceeds to the front with tho January Reinforcements. Father Dumphy, flf St. Patrick's, takes temporary charge of Puhoi during the absence of Father Kerraine. Father Farragher is transferred from Puhoi to Ormond. Father O'Doherty transfors from Ilimtly to Cambridge. Father Edge lias returned from his Australian trip, and resumes charge of Huntly parish. Father O'Flynn goes from Remuora to St. Benedict's. Father Spierings will become assistant at Remuera. j Father Taylor has been appointed assistant at St. Patrick's. Father Bleakcly has been appointed assistant at Ponsonby. Tho Very Rev. Chancellor' T-Tolbrook, of Grey Lynn, hns been added to the Jist of Dioocean Consulters,.
