RAILWAY ACCIDENT
4 — YOUTH VERY BADLY HURT. Gilbert Parkinson, an employee of the Railway Traffic Department, was run over by a railway carriage attached 1 to a shunting train in the Lambton yards at about 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon, and injured to such au extent that when ho reached the hospital it was deemed necessar.v to amputate the left leg at the thigh and to amputate the right foot. Tlie young fellow is a son of Mr. H. A. Parkinson, headmaster of the Newtown Public School, who resides at 137 Coromandel Street, lie is only fifteen years of age.
