MAGISTRATE'S COURT
« THEFT OF A £0 NOTE. Messrs. T. Soldi'and W. Coy, J.P.'s, presided at yesterday's sitting of the Magistrate's Court. They sentenced Fredk. Saundors to two months' imprisonment for snatching and makino- off uith a £5 note belonging to Richard Fisher-.' For insobriety, Win. Whiteside was fined £1, in default three days' imprisonment; and Clias. Herbert Shaw 10s or forty-eight hours' imprisonment. ' Dennis Gorondis was remanded till December 31 on a charge of assaulting Osvaldo Chirrot and causing him bodily harm.
