A GERMAN REPORT (Rec. December 26, .5.5 p.m.) Amsterdam, December 24. . A Berlin communique states:—"We completely recaptured Hartmannsweilerkopf. ARTILLERY DUEL HUN INFANTRY DISPERSED (Rec. Dccemker 26, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, December 25. A French communique reports a particularly lively artillery duel in Belgium. The enemy's infantry assembled in trenches in the region of Lombaertayde, but were dispersed by our fire. ' Our artillery between the Sommo and the Oise demolished .German, works west of Lassigny, and seriously damaged the Roland Tower. We exploded two mines, which wrecked enemy works south-east of BerryAubac. The Germans launched a. violent attack between the summit of Hartmannsweilerkopf and Wattweiler, but they were everywhere repulsed. ABOUT YPRES ARTILLERY ACTIVITY (Rec.
