RELIEF STEAMER SUNK

The steamor Liverpool, with a cargo of foodstuffs from Now York to Rotterdam for the Belgian Relief Commission, was found in a sinking condition off the Kentish Knock. It is supposed she struck a mine or was torpedoed. • The crew was saved' by the Italian steamer Porto Said (formerly Arawa). The Liverpool subsequently Bank. [The Kentish Knock is.a sandbank in 'the North Sea. off the mouth of the River Thames, fifteen miles uorth-east of the. North Foreland.]
