Mr. M'Hardy holds the opinion that no person is justified iii retaining "war prolits" when our men are volunteering to risk life and limb in the defence of the nation. Every half-crown, then, goes to bay comforts for Now Zealanders in hospiitals abroad, or in tho firing line, and those; who wish to help our bravo lads caimot do better than take a ticket oq two for themselves, and give a few away this Christmas. Tickets are obtainable at lefKliiig tobacconists and booksellers, or by posli from E. Grant Sim, box 229, Pniln'snstlm North.
