DRUIDS' DEMONSTRATION FUND
A meeting of the Druids' Demonstration Committee was held last evening, when the hon. secretary (Mr. W. MTftughlin) brought forward a statement of accounts. The net result of the concert and art union of the autograph art album, in aid of the N.Z. Wounded Soldiers' and Belgian Rplief Funds will be about J2SO. Accounts lo the amount of £47 6s. sd. were passed for payment. Votes of thanks were accorded to those who kindly assisted the committeo in their effort. A special vote of thanks was accorded to the 11011. secretary (Mr. W. M'Laiighlin) for the great amount of work performed by him in connection with the concert and art union. Bro. IT. Abel (lion, treasurer) was cordially thanked for his sterling assistance. The autograph art album itself was responsible for about .£SO of the proceeds, and special mention was made of tho kindness of Mr. W. S. La Trobo. the director of the Wellington . Technicnl Collejrp, and his art staff in providing Hie illuminations and material gratuitously.
