9 FAVOURED BY A JOCKEY CLUB. (By Telegrapli.-'Press Timaru, Dccembcr 13. By 32 votes to 18, the members of tlie South Canterbury Jockey Club, at a specially convened meeting, deckled to recommend tlio-Racing Conference to reduce the days of racing. A limitation to statutory holidays was suggested.
