$ PUBLIC SCHOOLS TOURNEY. Further matches in connection with the J iiblic Schools Lawn Tennis Championships wero played at tho Broughnm iiill courts on (Saturday. Tho secondary schools tournoy had reached' tho concluding stages the previous week, and on Saturday the primary school championships wero brought down to soim-tinal and final stages. If the woather' is fine this afternoon, the championships will be concluded at Brougham Ulll. The challenge cup for points appears likely to go to tho Clyde Quay bcliool, but there is just the possibility of a surprise. In addition to the cup there are medals for the dift'eront events and racquets and other trophies. .Results of Saturday's matches are as follow: — Girls' Singles (winners to play in semi-finals): V.
