On Friday a match was played on the Newtown green for the Diamond Buckles against the holders, Davie's and Duff, the challengers being Cheesman and Martin, who were successful - in taking them over to Hataitai, the scores being: Cheesman and Martin,' 25: Davies and Duff, 20.
