The annual report of the Gear Meat Preserving and Freezing Co., to be submitted to shareholders on WedneEdaj' next-, states tliat, including the amount brought forward, and after making allowance for depreciation, and payment of interim dividend, there remains a balance of £28.440 125., which the directors recommend for appropriation as follows;—In payment of a dividend of 10 per cent-, for the year endeil November 30, less interim dividend at 5 per cent, paid in June, £4600; in payment oI special diyidand of 5 per cent, from profits earned by reserve funds, less 25 ,per cent, paid in June. £2300; contributions to approved funds for benefit of New Zealand wounded soldiers hare and abroad. £2000; to be carried forward to next year's account, £19,540 12s. Owing to the satisfactory results of operations in connection with tho company's insurance reserve, the directors recommend the payment of a, bonus of 5 per cent, on the paid-up capital out of that account. The retiring directors aro Messrs. W. 11. S. Moorliouse and Nicholas Ibid, who. being eligible, offer themselves for re-election. The auditors, Messrs. B. T. B«/lham and E. W.
