THE IMPORTANT PEODUCT OF THE DAY. Extremely high prices were, paid for wool at the first Auckland Wool Salo of the season (25th November). Tho highest price for 'greasy wool during the sale was 21d. per lb. This price was paid for 11 bales of fine crossbred wool from the flock of Messrs. A. and E. O'Brien, of Putiki Bay. It is the record price ever paid at an Auckland Wool Sale.
