The work of Mddle. Regina Badet as Sadunah, the dancer, will long be remember d for its passion and power and convincing realism, the whole picture being a fine example of tho art of modern photography, -lardy successful, though in a different sease, is the delightful A'itagraph comedy, featuring Anita Stewart and Earne Williams; and the Patlie Gazette this week 13 also excellent.

EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. All the leading actors and actresses of the Keystone Company are featured in the nosing comedy, "A Rascal's AVoliisli l Va i'< which is being screened at Everybody s Theatre this week. The comedy is a laughable one, and at times the fun is fast and furious. "The Elusive TreaSr?,,. x » ,t 0 twelfth episode of the Million Dollar Mystery," carries tho story another step forward, and there are many thrilling incidents showing how the rascally gang has again been foiled. The Edison drama, "For His Mother," a scenic dealing with Tunis, and the Gaumont Graphic make up an excellent programme. THE EMPRESS. Thanhonser's photo-draiimtisation of Augusta Evans AVilson's book, "At the Mercy of Tiberius" continues to attract more, people than can be accommodated at the Empress. Florence La Badie, as Beryl Bretano, adds further laurels to lier great, reputation. The jiart of the Colonel is well sustained by Harris Gordon. There are many beautiful settings throughout the production, which appears to have been taken in tho locale of the book—the Southern States of America. The pliotographic quality is of the highest standard, and very l effective use is made of .the double' exposure principle. There are many .bright moments to oft'set the nioro tragic incidents, and somo of tho comedy work of the old negress, Bedtiey, is distinctly good. Supporting the star attraction is Keystone',s,t\vo-rct'!or, "Only ci "Messenger Bov,". featuring tho inimitablo Ford Sterling. Judging by the roars of merriment which greet every antic. Sterling bids fair to reach again -his former position as premier 'coriiediah' (if the screen. There is the usual assortment "of interesting happenings in the Topical Gazette. PUPILS' RECITAL. An interesting programme will bs given on Thursday next in the Concert Chamber by Miss Betty Purdom's' juvenile pupils, consisting of elocutionary work of a very varied nature. Most of the items will be presented in character. Among the special featares of the evening's entertainment will be a Shakesperean dialogue, "Hubert and Arthui-," by Josie and Doris Bailey; an.old English duet and dance by Hazel Hardwicke and Rita Howe; tho former little artist v.'iii also be seen in tho pretty dance "Coppellia." Another clever littlo girl, Ngairc Lemmon, will appear in musical monologue, dialogue and dance; and many other artistic items make up what promises to be a delightful programme. The proceeds go to tho Mayor's Wounded Soldiers' Fund. • • DANCE RECITAL. The dance recital given by Miss Estelle Beere and her clover pupils at tho Grand Opera House 011 Monday evening, in aid of the wounded soldiers in the hospitals at Cairo, was so successful that in tcsponso to, numerous representations it has been decided to repeat the performance on Friday evening next. Tho rental of the Opera House has already been generously prepaid by a member of Monday's audience, so delighted was he with the general excellence of the entertainment. Outstanding'items on the programme will be "Childhood's Dream of Fairyland," "Tho Dying Swan," the "Danso des Sylphes," "Spanish Cachucha," "Daughters of the Regiment," "Dance of the Picaninnies," "Russian Mazurka," "A Forest Idyll," and many other quaint and pictnresqu.o dances. Miss Beere lias decided to issue invitations to the inmatoa of the Home for Aged Needy and children of the Salvation Amy Home.
