Some correspondence that is likely ,to allay considerable concern among those who have relatives or friends among those who have been reported in casualty lists as prisoners of war in Constantinople has reached the friends of Private John Percy Coulter (Wellington Battalion), who was some time ago reported unofficially a prisoner of war ux Constantinople. ■ Following is'a copy of a manuscript card which has been received by Mrs. Coulter:— .Geneva, 31/8/15. According to lists dated 17/8/15 re« oeived from the. Red Crescent Society, Constantinople, there is John Percy Coulter (No. 10/1455), Wellington Battalion, A Coy., aged 21, taken prisoner on August 6, provisionally interned at. Constantinople. We! advise'that all correspondence should be sent through us. .y Letters need not be stamped, but in order to avoid delay, should bear the liams, rank, and number of the prisoner distinctly written on the envelope.' _ . We have been transferred from Constantinople to a place n/imed Angara, winch I believe is about 150 miles from the coast., We are being well treated, and have little to co&plam of. Those who have money are allowed .to buy anything thoy wish for. We have no work to do and we usually while away the time telling each other of our expert eiiccs."
