December 5, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 4. ■ A ,l urkmh communique says:—There have been artillery combats in the Dardanelles. _ The enemy cruisers, torpedoers and monitors participated in unsuccessful bombardments of Anafarta, Vri Burnu, and Sedd-ul-Bahr. We had tomo minor artillery successes, which continue. Near Sedd-ul-Bahr the enemy fired a great number of aerial torpedoes against the centre of our left wing during a vigorous bomb enoounter. The communique repeats the false charge already officially denied that the British are using hospital sliips as transports. KAISER TO VISIT CONSTANTINOPLE. Berne, December 3. The Kaiser is reported to be going to Constantinople.
