INQUEST TO BE HELD. The police have been advised 'hat a man, named Gustav Gottlieb Weld, who lived at 7 Elizabeth Street, died suddeuly after eating his evening meal on Monday. The body was removed to the morgue, and an inquest will be held. MOTOR MISHAP. On Sunday afternoon, at South Carterton, a motorist from Masterton, named Weller, was driving along with two ladies in a motor-car, when a tiro blew-out with a loud roport, and the car overturned. Mr. Weller was somewliat seriously injured in the hack, and also had several ribs broken. The ladies • were both badly bruised and shaken, but suffered no more than this. Dr. Johnston was called, and he ordered the removal of Mr. Weller to the Masterton Hospital. DEAD BODY IDENTIFIED. By Telegraph—l'ress Association. Auckland, November 3Q. , A body found at Otahuhu on Sunday has been identified as that of John O'Reilly, a- labourer, aged 61 years. ANOTHER MOTOR FATALITY. Ashburton, November 30. Edward Shirley farmer, of Lauriston, his wife, and six-year-old child, were motoring home from a concert at Lauriston in the early hours of this morning, when the car ran over loose shingle, skidded, and capsized. The child was flung clear, but the Irusband and wife ivcre- pinned under tho vehicle ; and Mrs. Shirley was- killed. Mr. Shirley was badly bruised and cut.
