At the'trial of the directors of the ilamburg-Amerika Company, the master of the Norwegian steamer Nepos gave evidence that he carried supplies from I hiladelphia m August, 1914. He was bound to Monrovia to supply the Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse, but the German vessel was sunk by the Highflyer. The captain later sold the supplies to a British cruiser.
