AN ALL-IRISH DIVISION UNPLEASANT SURPRISE FOR THE KAISER . By T«lezranh—Pr««i Association—OooyTiKbt London, November 26. The- "Daily Chronicle", .states that on November 16 an All-Irish Division, composed of Catholic Nationalists and Ulster Protestants., and commanded by General Sir Lawrence Parsons, had completed its training, and was ready for the front. Tho officers include Mr. John Redmond's sou and Mr. Redmond's brother William. Tile "Daily Chronicle" says: "Ireland . is no longer the Cinderella of Europe, standing sullenly aloof. Her brigades do for England what General Sarsfield's soldiers did in tho War of the Spanish Succession, and what De Lacy and his fellow-Irishmen did in Franco, and at Fontenoy." Mr. John Redmond says: "The com-r pletion of the new division shows the Kaiser's .flagrant miscalculation in counting bn the hostility of tho Green Isle towards Britain. For the first time In' history, Ireland is eager to fulfil her duty for the Empire, Mich 110 longer stands for oppression, but for independence of small nations, and the freedom of the world.''
