t IfARGB STTM FOE WOUNDED SOLDIERS. By. Telegraph—Press Association, Auckland, November 38. The Auckland Patriotic Carnival concluded last night with a gala njght in Queen Street. The executive's aim in securing a quarter of a million for the fund for wounded soldiers hoe already been exceeded, and) many thousands of pounds are still expected. The total in hand to-day is £269,644, the carnival being alreaay responsible for £194,687.
