The report states that the Red Cross and Y.M.C.A. are working hand in hand in Egypt, which is as things, should be. I : notice' Mr. Hay appeals for XSO right now, so I am enclosing you my cheque for that amount, and request that it be sent right away, as I feel that we in this country ■will be doing far more good by sending more money right into' or near the Bcene of action than by keeping so much boarded in thiß country as sick and wounded funds. My opinion is, the greater portion of our subscribed money would k better spent in this way than to retain it locked up in this Dominion. My desire
is to try and get the money spent as near as possible to the trenches." Gay Ramsay, a little girl 8 years' of age, gleefully handed in Bs.
