Sale reported:—Christchurch Meat, £16 58. THE HATJRAKI BEEFS, LTD. The mine manager of the Hauraki Reefs reports &9 follows:—Three men have been employed in the stopes during the past week. A few pounds of picked stone and also some good cru6hing dirt cam© to hand. A Btart was made to-day to drive tho No. i level face. A start was made through the week driving tho No. 2 level facc. A crosscut was also started from- No. 2 level to cut the Wynyardton reef. About 60 feet of driving should get tho reef. The battery has been running •all the week, and we should get cleaned ■up about next Wednesday. TALISMAN CONSOLIDATED, The mine superintendent of the Talisman Consolidated has sent to London the following cablegram ;—Woodstock, No 1 rise, progress 18ft., reef 51iri. wide, value 215.; No. 5 crosscut-, progress 41ft.; No 6 crosscut, progress 39ft.
