FIRE AT TAIHAPE
ROAD BOARD'S BOOKS LOST. By Telejraph.—Press Association. Talhape, November 23. A fire broke out at Taihape at, 12.30 this morning, which gutted the office of H. J. Doherty, architect. A typewriter, plans, • and other contents of tho 'room were' destroyed, including the whole of the Uppor Wangaehu Boad Board's books and papers, of which body Mr. Doherty was secretary. The insurance on tho building was £133, on the typewriter £16, and on the plans £57. ■
