London,- November 20. The captain of the Anglia, at the inquest, stated that the explosion took place three niiles off the shore and blew the bridge to smithereens. Ho was blown on to the lower deck and ran to the wireless room and met the operator emerging with blood on his face. H& stated the instrument , had burst to pieces. Only the boats on the port side were available. He went to stop tho engines, which were racing, and found the gear destroyed. Many of the cot cases wero _,minus arms, legs, or foot, .'and wero unable to help themselves.
