RELIGIOUS BARRIERS BROKEN DOWN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrlffht . Eerne, November 17. A Geneva journal's Galician correspondent says: "Religious barriers grow less amid the horrors of the battlefield. Catholic priests succouring Jews, while Mussulmans expire in tho arms of Protestant pastors. A Catholic priest narrates tho following:—'A soldier mortally wounded crawled to me, and I knelt beside him. He was a Jew whi) had been frightfully mutilated. He held himself close against me with mid energy, begging me to pray for him. I gave him from the bottom of my heart the last consolations. He handed me his papers, his money, and watch to send to his wife. 1 made his will. After a half-hourjs agony in my arms he died uncomplainingly, murmuring his mother's name. I closed, his eyes and turned away, as other voices were calling.' " ; ..
