HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. A bright, snappy rovue is given nightly by tie Mfon Black Company at Ilia Majesty's Theatre this week. "The Sen Wolf" at the King's Theatre is proving a strong attraction, and another very large attendance was present last night, standing room only being the order long before 8 o'clock. This powerful story of the sea is a remarkable one m uiany respects, and is full of striking episodes and strong situations. The film keeps close to Jack London's popular story, and succeeds in holding the interest of the onlooker to the last. Tho fine actus of Hobart Bosworth as Wolf Larsen if convincing that it is hard to imagine that it is acting:, and that the camera man is present at the mid and terrible scenes on board The Ghost. There is an air of reality, a true atmosphere of the sea about the picture that makes one believe that the various incidents are actual happenings. . The film, which is preceded on the programme by an excellent Pathe Gazette," will bo shown up to and including Saturday night.

EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. Tho ninth episode in the great "Million Dollar Mystery" picture, which has been gamin# prominence at Everybody's Theatre lately, is now being shown. It is an adventure story of powerful happenings. 'Florence Hargroaves is abducted t by the Black Hand Gang, and her subsequent rescue forms one ot the most excit- . ihg episodes of this series. A sensational incident is where she leaps from a Dig liner in mid-ocean, and is subsequently Tescued. The supporting, programme is a good one, aud it contains an excellent comedy, "Billy Debut," "TEe Melbourne Cup," "Highlander Milk Industry, and other interesting films. EMPRESS THEATRE. There are two outstanding features on the<programme which i.s being ■ produced at the Empress Theatre dnring the current week. . One is an extraordinary r- l i.? m 1 a ,£ <!h ? rm ' thrill . an <l mystery, entitled The Counterfeiters." It is a detective story pure.and simple, and has to be seen to be appreciated. Thore is also a good film of this year's Melbourne Cup. run at Flemmgton.
