RAILWAY DEPOT DEMOLISHED

Nov/ York, November 11. Great Bend, Kansas, reports that about fifteen lives were lost in a torv nado that swept Kansas, Missouri, Nobraska. Colorado, and' South Dakota. Tho storm tore a path sixteen 'miles wido, and wrecked tho electric plant, waterworks, and telegraph and . telephono wires, Tho damago is estimated at half a million".
. The railroad deport was demolished, and half the houses in tho city wrecked. Wrecking trains, carrying doctors and nurses, have been sent from Hutchinson in response to a plea for aid. Tho exaot number of tho dead is not known, owing to the lack of communication.
. 'There were fire outbreaks, and several buildings, owing to lack of water, waro burned to tho ground.
