FATAL RAILWAY ACCIDENT. 'An inquest was held at the Hospital yesterdays before Mr. D. G. A.. THROWN OFF THE TRAIN. '• While travelling by the 8.20 p.m. train froni Wellington to Petone yesterday, Mr. R. Mothes, of Pqtone, who was standing on the platform of one of tho barriagos, was thrown.off the train about four diains on the south side of Petouo station. Mr. Mothes was promptly carried to.the porters' roots, whero his in--jurids were attended to by Dr. Harding. Mr. Mothes was very much bruised and shaken, but is not seriously injured.
