STATUE OF CAPTAIN SCOTT

Balfour, First Lord of tho 'Admiralty, -unveiled Lady Scott's statue of her husband, in his Antarctic costumo, which has been erected by the officers of the Navy in Waterloo Place. ■Mr Balfour said that Captain Scott was worthy to rank with Cook and Franklin; -In those times of war it was good to remember the Navy's unwa-rlike, yet dangerous, work, in which the late Captain Scott showed all : the great qualities of sailor, explorer, «nd man of science. •
