TRANSPORT SUNK
BY GERMAN SUBMARINE INDIAN SOLDIERS DROWNED. Bj Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrinht London, November 5. The Press Bureau states that a submarine eaut the transport llamazan in the Aegean Sea by shell fire on September 19. There were 300 Indians aboard, 76 of whom were suvijd. [Tho Ramazan was a vessel of 8477 tons gross, built in 1905 for the Liverpool Shipping Company, Ltd.] (Rec. November 7, 3.35 p.m.) London, November 6. The Press Bureau states:—The submarine shelled the R-amazan off Antecythera and smashed a number of the boats wtili shell-firs. The -survivors reached Antecythera in their own boats the same v night. Twenty-eight of the crew were also saved.
