London, November 5. The German Press is discussing tho question of peace, and denying the previous "kite-flyers," obviously because thej wero. scorned by the Allies. An Amsterdam message states that a, neutral Power communicated Herr von Bethmann-Hollweg's • (German Chancellor) alleged proposals to Sir - Edward Grey, ana that the latter laughed them to scorn.

Swiss bankers have been confidentially informed that tho leading German bankers are -unitedly pressing Germany to s'ecuro peace when Constantinople has been reached, claiming that as tie maximum of her offensive.
